Bereaved Parents of the USA (BP/USA) is a national non-profit self-help group that offers support, understanding, compassion, and hope especially to the struggling to rebuild their lives after the death of their children, grandchildren, or siblings. BP/USA is open to everyone regardless of the age or the circumstances of the death. There are no dues or fees to become a member of BP/USA. All work on both the national and chapter level is done by volunteer bereaved parents with a strong desire to help other families survive the death of their children just as they were helped when their children died.     www.bereavedparentsusa.org

GROWW, is an independent haven for the bereaved developed by the bereaved. Grief can take over your life and become the centerpiece pushing everything else to the side or to the back. The pain can be overpowering and consuming. GROWW is a place where peer groups in an online chat room environment teach that you have "permission to grieve".
The GROWW website tries to teach its visitors that what they are feeling is NORMAL.

The mission of The Compassionate Friends is to assist families toward the positive resolution of grief following the death of a child of any age and to provide information to help others to be supportive. The Compassionate Friends is a national nonprofit, self-help support organization that offers friendship, understanding, and hope to bereaved parents, grandparents and siblings. There is no religious affiliation and there are no membership dues or fees. The secret of TCF's success is simple: As seasoned grievers reach out to the newly bereaved, energy that has been directed inward begins to flow outward and both grievers begin to heal.
